Dan-O’s – Adobo Street Corn
We’re taking sweet, juicy corn and giving it the full-on Dan-O’s upgrade with buttery, cheesy, creamy, and packed with that bold Adob-O flavor. It’s all the crave-worthy street-corn goodness you love, made the Dan-O’s way. Grab your skillet… this side dish is so good, you might just call it the main event.
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp Dan-O’s Adob-O Seasoning
- 4 ears of corn, kernels cut off the cob
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeño (optional, diced for heat)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ stick butter
- ⅛ wheel Mexican crumbling cheese (cotija or similar)
- Mexican crema (to taste)
- ⅓ cup Mayonnaise
Instructions:
1. Cut the corn off the cobs and set aside.
2. Heat a pan over medium heat and melt ½ stick of butter. Add the corn, diced orange bell pepper and jalapeño (if using). Spread the mixture evenly in the pan and let it cook for about 4 minutes to form a crispy, golden bottom. Then mix around and let cook untouched again for 2-4 minutes until desired crispyness.
3. Add 2 tbsp Dan-O’s Adob-O amd then sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top and let it melt into the corn.
4. Remove from heat and finish with Mexican crema, a touch of mayo, more Adob-O, and crumbling cheese.
5. Serve immediately — and Yum Yum Get Ya Sum!
