Lanes BBQ – Apple Pie Double Smoked Ham

Simply season and smoke the ham until it reaches 140 degrees internal temperature, then pour the flavorful glaze over the top and let it caramelize for a perfectly indulgent finish. Ingredients:

  • Smoked spiral sliced ham
  • Lane’s Apple Pie Rub
  • ½ jar Wishams Apple Fig Pepper Jelly
  • 1 tbsp Lane’s Original Smoked Salt
  • 1 Stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Duck Fat Spray
  • Rectangle Aluminum foil Pan

Instructions:

1. Set smoker to 275 degrees

2. Place ham in aluminum foil pan. Spray ham with Duck fat spray and season spiral smoked ham with Lane’s Apple Pie rub.

3. Smoke for about 2 – 3 hours until internal temp of ham is 140 degrees

4. Pour glaze over top of ham

5. Leave on smoker for another 5 to 10 minutes to caramelize glaze

Making the Glaze

1. Place a small sauce pot on stovetop over medium high heat

2. Add butter, brown sugar, Original smoked salt, and Wishams Apple Fig Pepper Jelly. Bring to a light boil until fully mixed
