Lanes BBQ – Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Sweet Heat
Prep
Preheat oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Slice Bacon in half
Wrap a piece of bacon around each asparagus bundle in a spiral. Sprinkle Sweet Heat Rub over each bundle.
Cook
Bake until bacon is crispy (approximately 25 to 30 minutes)
Serve and Enjoy!
Looking for a healthier option, but still, want it to have great flavor? You can bake or grill asparagus wrapped in bacon any day of the week. This makes for a great asparagus appetizer or side dish!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. asparagus – trimmed
- 12 pieces of bacons
- Lane’s Sweet Heat Rub
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Slice Bacon in half
3. Wrap a piece of bacon around each asparagus spear in a spiral. Sprinkle Sweet Heat Rub over each spear.
4. Bake until bacon is crispy (approximately 25 to 30 minutes)

***You may need to use a toothpick to hold the bacon around the asparagus.
